AccessHero
MY ROLE
Design lead & Framer developer
PROJECT WINDOW
April 14 2026 — June 30 2026
DELIVERED
Brand, website & content system
THE PRODUCT
AccessHero helps businesses find and address barriers that make websites difficult for people with disabilities to use. Its tools bring together accessibility checks, ongoing monitoring, visitor adjustments, and useful insights.
01
OWNERSHIP & COLLABORATION
From the first questionto the final build.
I owned the work from research through launch, collaborating directly with CEO Maarten Peeters and CTO Jolanda Naafs.
Designing and developing the site let me carry decisions all the way into the live experience. Working closely with the leadership team kept the company’s goals and practical requirements at the center.
5 days
Understand the category
Competitor research and direction.
5 days
Build the identity
Logo, colors, and typography.
~2 months
Rethink the website
Existing pages and new experiences.
~1 month
Bring it to life
Complete development in Framer.
02
THE STARTING POINT
A useful product.A presence ready to evolve.
The earlier website had useful information. It needed a stronger identity and a clearer way to introduce the product.

03
FIVE DAYS OF RESEARCH
Clarity starts with context.
I started with competitor research to understand how accessibility products explain what they do.
The wider category includes accessiBe, EqualWeb, and AudioEye. Their current offerings show why visitors need clear distinctions between automated tools, ongoing monitoring, and expert support.
04
THE BRAND REFRESH
A familiar idea.A distinct new identity.
The new logo brings together a globe and the accessibility figure, connecting the web with the people who use it.

05
THE WEBSITE REDESIGN
One brand.Room for the whole product.
I redesigned the existing pages and expanded the site with pricing, contact, partnerships and multiple product pages.
Short explanations, focused product visuals, step-by-step sections, and FAQs create a consistent rhythm. An expanded menu introduces the tools with icons and descriptions before visitors even leave the page.

06
DESIGN INTO DEVELOPMENT
Built in
Framer.With accessibility at the center.

I developed the complete website, carrying the visual direction all the way into the live experience.
Accessibility was a requirement across the entire site. I approached the design and build around recognized web accessibility standards, with the aim of making the full experience accessible.
07
BEYOND THE WEBSITE
A brand the teamcan keep building with.
I created a scalable Figma library so LinkedIn posts and blog graphics could start from the same visual foundation.
Single posts, educational carousels, quotes, data layouts, product graphics, and blog headers come in light, dark, and gradient variations. The file separates foundations, reusable elements, and templates so the next story has a starting point.
08
THE OUTCOME
A connected presence.Ready for what comes next.
AccessHero now has a refreshed identity, an expanded website built in Framer, and a content library that carries the brand into everyday communication.
A recognizable brand
A new logo, type direction, and blue-and-teal palette.
A complete live website
Redesigned product pages and new routes to pricing and help.
A reusable content library
Consistent starting points for future posts and articles.

09
FINAL THOUGHTS
Taking responsibilityfor the whole journey.
This project strengthened the way I connect branding, website design, and development. Working directly with the people building the business helped turn an early direction into a complete, live experience.
